Nova Scotia Expands Child Care in Colchester & Inverness

Families in Colchester and Inverness counties will soon have more options for child care.

The Lower Onslow Preschool Association in Masstown, Colchester County, is creating 52 spaces for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, opening next spring.

The East Coast Early Learning Association in Margaree, Inverness County, is creating 14 spaces for toddlers and preschoolers, opening this fall.

These projects are funded by both the provincial and federal governments through the Canada-Nova Scotia Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement. The goal is to help families participate in the workforce and support Nova Scotia’s economic growth.
